If you live on the East Coast and you love vintage you have probably heard about, or been to, the Brimfield Antique Show. People from around the country descend upon the small town of Brimfield, Ma. to buy and sell almost anything you can think of. Some folks go to the show looking for a specific item for their home, store, or space but we find it is best to go with an open mind and see what finds you instead.
Furniture and decorative items to suit everyone’s taste. From mid-century modern to shabby chic if you can’t find it here, it doesn’t exist. We go to find unique items for our current projects and to stock our vintage furniture Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheArbitrarium). But we think it’s a great way to spend the day even if you don’t need a thing! If you missed it take heart, there are 2 more shows this year in July and September! Have you been to Brimfield? Tell us your best find this year. Or if your one of our foreign readers, do you have a Brimfield equivalent? We would love to hear about the best antiquing places around the world!
See you in July!
